Conventions

Ever since 2000, I've attended several conventions. You can see them all in my photo album.
What are conventions all about anyways?w I go to them because where I live, I don't have a lot of people who are into the same interests. Conventions hold a lot of the same fans. For example, if you go to a Yaoi convention, expect lots of girls, people that are into yaoi. Anime conventions are more broader, you get to learn about most recent animes and visit artists & voice actors. Speaking of artists, it's a great way to get your name out there if you want to start comic or some type of special "DIY" product.
Do I cosplay? I don't really cosplay a lot. However my friend, Neonlexicon does a lot of great costumes, she made me a Bridget costume that I should wear again sometime *LOL* She even won an award at American Cosplay Paradise for her Dante costume! I also made a White Mage Devout robe (based off of FF3) that I'm still kinda working on. Some anime conventions only allow ANIME cosplay...which I just found out. Anime Punch is one of them. When you are interested in attending an anime con, it's best to read up on their website and sometimes their forum.
Here are conventions you can usually find me at in the artist alley.
