Final Fantasy 7 Obsession

Remember how FF7 could of been on the N64? This section all about the making of FF7. Instead of remaking the FF7 game (and maybe add in a special quest to revive Aerith), the FF7 Compilation was created. The Compilation is a series of games based on FF7. Some are based after the PSX game and others are set before. There was a guide in Japanese that was translated into English. This guide is a fan book released by Squaresoft with pretty much anything you wanted to know about the game, information on the characters. You can easily buy this book still. |
After beating the game, I talked to some friends who also played the game about some stuff that seemed left out of the game. I then decided to write Squaresoft, my questions were: Is the game incomplete and can you revive Aeris? To my surprise, they wrote back!!!! I wish I could find the letter, I will have to search through my boxes of mail when I go visit my old home. However I think the letter got damaged. Either way they debunked both, saying the game was indeed finished and there is no way to revive Aerith. It is weird seeing her ghost though in the church!FF7 Citadel |
I never really thought too much about who Cloud loves but there's a lot of fans who are TifaxCloud and AerithxCloud. *LOL* BarrettxCloud (yes, during the Golden Saucer ride you can go on the airride with Barrett instead of the girls depending on what you say to him.. I'll post screenshots later). The Love Triangle of FFVII: Conclusion |
You can spot a lot of FF7 references in other Squaresoft games. For example, a magazine in FF8, Xenogears has a picture of Tifa. Who knew Loveless was from the band My Bloody Valentine?! There are a lot of websites that will do a better job then me covering it. Hopefully these sites won't go down *L* Sites FFCompendium. Life Size Sephiroth! |
This section is devoted to some favorite fan artists I came across during high school (1999-2001) looking for people who drew English fan comics. I'm sure most of you have recognized these drawings but never knew the original source! Emily Gregg's Miss Midgar Final Fantasy Rejects: Old site with random fan art. |
Don't forget to check out my Doujinshi section and my comic!

Has FF7 doujinshi and Hojo related screen shots. Jenova: Calamity from the skies: All about Jenova from Final Fantasy 7. RPGamer's FF7 fanart archive:An awesome section to see really old fan art of FF7, it's great! Video Game Girl Ring: You can find some pretty cool FF7 sites. The Squaresoft Repository: You can read about names that appear in different games from FF7. Final Fantasy Wikida: Like the original wiki but don't like how superficial it can be? Try this one, awesome links and you can read in detail about all the characters.
