Final Fantasy 7 Obsession

Let's share the obsession!
So you played the Final Fantasy 7 game on the PSX/PC several times. Maybe you have a void that needs filled with even more FF7 information..or maybe you just want to read everything there is to know about the game FF7 and more (like fan art & comics). There is the Wiki but sometimes that just doesn't cut it! Do not fear! With the Internet, you can pretty much satisfy any fandom. FF7 is a pretty popular game since it was released, especially in America so there are plenty of resources.
Collectibles

Tuulisti's Final Fantasy 7 Collectables Website. There's a lot of FF 7 merchandise in Japan, America and even other countries like from the UK. This website shows a lot of stuff that I didn't know existed. I want the Ehrigez Turk vs. Vincent stand!!
The Making of Final Fantasy 7

Remember how FF7 could of been on the N64? This section all about the making of FF7.

  • Coming to America..
  • Lost Levels
  • IGN Presents the History of FF7
  • Final Fantasy 7 Compilation
  • Instead of remaking the FF7 game (and maybe add in a special quest to revive Aerith), the FF7 Compilation was created. The Compilation is a series of games based on FF7. Some are based after the PSX game and others are set before.

  • Final Fantasy VII Ultimania Omega Guide.
  • There was a guide in Japanese that was translated into English. This guide is a fan book released by Squaresoft with pretty much anything you wanted to know about the game, information on the characters. You can easily buy this book still.

    Novels
Some short stories were created around the time FFAC movie release. On a Way to a Smile which holds the Case of Denzel, and Case of Tifa Case of Barret is released in the American collectors edition of Advent Children. The Maiden who Travels the Planet was released in the Final Fantasy VII: Ultimania Omega guide. If you're an Aerith/Aeris fan like me, The Madien who Travels the Planet is very heartwarming in a way because it deals with Aeris in the Lifestream.
    The Death of Aeris/Aerith
Drawn by KittytreatsAfter beating the game, I talked to some friends who also played the game about some stuff that seemed left out of the game. I then decided to write Squaresoft, my questions were: Is the game incomplete and can you revive Aeris? To my surprise, they wrote back!!!! I wish I could find the letter, I will have to search through my boxes of mail when I go visit my old home. However I think the letter got damaged. Either way they debunked both, saying the game was indeed finished and there is no way to revive Aerith. It is weird seeing her ghost though in the church!
    FF7 Citadel
    Who loves who?

I never really thought too much about who Cloud loves but there's a lot of fans who are TifaxCloud and AerithxCloud. *LOL* BarrettxCloud (yes, during the Golden Saucer ride you can go on the airride with Barrett instead of the girls depending on what you say to him.. I'll post screenshots later).

[ Loveless ] Tifa Lockhart: I'm a more of a Tifa fan. This site is devoted to Tifa and supporting information of her and Cloud's feelings.

    FF7 in other places

You can spot a lot of FF7 references in other Squaresoft games. For example, a magazine in FF8, Xenogears has a picture of Tifa. Who knew Loveless was from the band My Bloody Valentine?! There are a lot of websites that will do a better job then me covering it. Hopefully these sites won't go down *L*
